On Halloween evening, 2007, Disneyland honored Ray Bradbury’s 35 year old book with his very own Halloween Tree, which will be decorated every Halloween for evermore!!! Ray attributes the growing popularity of decorated Halloween trees around the country to this wonderful, imaginative book. This event was celebrated at Disneyland’s Club 33, which is a private club located over the Blue Bayou restaurant, which guests can only attend if invited by members. The food for the evening was gourmet in nature (which was not to my taste, but hey, I’m a common man). Tony Baxter and Tim Delaney of Walt Disney Imagineering were the hosts of the event. (I had to edit out Tim’s talk to get the two movies under 10 minutes each). Please enjoy Ray Bradbury’s wonderful stories about Walt Disney and Disneyland. And also note Elaina43’s boistrous laughter (she was the cameraperson)
