I need to make a Hathor (Egyptian Goddess) costume for my daughter’s school play..?
I really need this and I can’t spend over $10, and Hathor wears a sundisk with cows horns and wears red traditionally
admin answers:
Get aluminum foil and stock board thick paper or cardboard and cut out the sundisk….glue the foil over it…then cut construction paper and cut out long horns…decorate with shiny glitter or strips of foil…go to a fabric store get some red fabric…cut a hole in it and drape it over your daughter like a poncho…there you have Hathor! Cost 10- 15$

Greek/Egyptian goddess costume ideas?
So I was thinking about being a Greek/Egyptian goddess for Halloween do you guys have any ideason how I should do my costume and makeup? oh by the way I’m 15 nothing too revealing plese. :D

Greek: You could do a sheet wrap toga with a gold-colored belt for your main outfit and a few leaves glued together and spray painted gold for a tiara. Your make-up wouldn’t have to be too extravagant, but make sure it looks good. Greek goddesses are known for their beauty. Wood sandals are the most authentic option for footwear, but can be a bad option for an area with cold weather. If you were able to wear tights underneath, you could easily find flip flops that look wooden, or at least aren’t obviously modern. Wear your hair loose. Most greek goddesses didn’t tie back their hair.
Egpytian: You could be Isis, which is the easiest as far as putting together. A white or gold dress, short, but not revealing, usually sleeveless. Gold-colored wrist bands or bangles for jewelry, and a black wig or dying your hair black. Having an ankh would add to the authenticity, as would a round colorful necklace that is commonly seen in heiroglyphs. As far as make-up is concerned, look up the Eye of Horus, and use black eyeliner to mark your own eyes to look like it, and gold body glitter to give yourself a shine.

I’ve already decided I wanna be an egyptian or greek goddess, but idk which I should be: 1. Egyptian or greek? 2. After you choose which one then which one in the egyptian or greek mythology? Oh, and if you choose egyptian please don’t say cleopatra. Thanks for your help! :)

Genie, greek/roman/egyptian goddess, mermaid, dinosaur, witch, Wanda (from where’s waldo), bumblebee/ladybug.

And none of the skanky party-city costumes.

What should I be for Halloween?
I have been pretty busy and totally forget I have a party to go to on Saturday! I need a quick DIY Halloween costume that is pretty. Not like a fairy or anything, but more along the lines of like an Egyptian goddess or Medusa. Please let me know what I should be and how to achieve this costume. Oh yeah, I’m thirteen if that helps.
admin answers:
Get a white sheet and cut it and sew it so it looks like a draped dress.
Wear a gold colored belt over the dress on your waist
wear gold bangles and gold and turquoise jewelry.
Give yourself black cat eyeliner
you could probably find like an Egyptian head dress at iparty or a halloween place.

Ideas:
Easter bunny : easy to do, just get bunny ears for £3 and draw on whiskers with eyeliner!
Elf: look very natural, buy pointy ears for cheap and done!
Evil fairy: not sure if this would count but just dress in black and buy some wings and do very glittery make up!
Egyptian Goddess: white long flow dress, a. Gold hair band that goes across the front of your head and lots of gold jewellery
Hope this helps

Which costume should I wear?
I want to be an egyptian goddess for halloween, but I can’t choose between these two costumes.. If I buy the short one I will be buying all the accessories that go with it including the head piece. If I choose the long one it already has everything included but I’m still not sure which one would be best. So help me please! Let me know what you guys think.

I like the long one better. Way cooler, plus you can reuse the dress as like a greek goddess costume next year.
